Sales Rep

Sales reps act as intermediaries between the company they represent and the customers they engage with. They actively engage with customers to identify their specific requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.

New Sales Rep

Adding a sales representative in an e-commerce backend involves creating a user account for the sales rep and assigning appropriate roles and permissions.

Steps

  • In DCKAP Commerce admin, under B2B -> Sales Rep.

  • From the Products page, click Add New Sales Rep.

  • Enter a Sales Rep name, along with additional details.

  • Assign the Sales Rep to desired Companies or users.

  • Click Save.

Edit Sales Rep

Editing a sales rep typically involves modifying their user account details, roles, and permissions.

Steps

  • In DCKAP Commerce admin, under B2B -> Sales Rep.

  • Select a Sales Rep from left bar and Edit.

  • Modify Sales Rep additional details.

  • Click Save.

View Sales Rep

Viewing company-wise activity such as orders, quotes, shopping list are essential for managing and fulfilling transactions with business customers.

Steps

  • In DCKAP Commerce admin, under B2B -> Sales Rep.

  • Click on the Sales Rep.

Order Processing

Monitor and manage incoming orders placed by Sales Rep. This includes reviewing order details, processing payments, updating order statuses, and coordinating order fulfillment.

Quote Processing

Monitor and manage incoming quotes by Sales Rep. This includes reviewing quotes details, processing quotes, negotiating, and updating quote statuses.

Select Companies

Choose the appropriate companies from a list or by searching for their name. This links the companies to the selected Sales Rep.
